Course Overview
This course provides a critical introduction to the key ideas, techniques and issues that make up the effective use of intelligence. The course describes the process of crime and intelligence analysis, the role of the analyst and examines the analysis process. Key tools in the analytical process are also introduced.
This course will equip and develop attendees to manage intelligence and to look at how it can be used to inform strategic and operational security, including criminal and terrorist threats and associated risks and losses.
