Course Description
Institutional integrity and the consequences of corruption are a top priority on all national agendas.Within procurement, it is essential that the skills to monitor, investigate and audit operations are developed and strategies are established to minimise opportunities for corrupt activities to take place.
This course addresses a global need to aid procurement staff in the fight against corruption in both the public and private sectors. It addresses the causes of corruption and considers where procurement is most vulnerable. It also covers a range of management process controls and best practice techniques to mitigate malpractice and takes a challenging look at issues of ethics and integrity of procurement staff.
